The Auxiliary Power Unit PBS APU SPARK40 is used for starting the main engines using air pressure. It provides an autonomous source of electric power and an air source for the air-conditioning system. It also offers a range of further potential applications. It also features a dual speed sensor, an exhaust gas temperature sensor, oil and fuel signaling, filter contamination signaling and signaling of low oil levels. Other features include analog indicators of APU parameters and of digital signals from the control box RS422 serial interface, along with operation parameters and failures.

Main features
  • Simultaneous take-off using electric power and compressed air.
  • Unlimited number of air take-offs for starting engines.
  • Continuous operation lasting 6 hours.
  • High reliability of APU operations.
  • Take-off air of suitable cleanliness for air-conditioning systems.
  • High service life and periods of operation.
  • Simple maintenance.
  • Ecological fuel drainage.
